Vaults of the ODD is a static website. It sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or cross-site tracking. This page explains the limited circumstances in which any cookie or similar technology is involved, in line with UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
Analytics
Visitor numbers are measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not track you across other sites. It records only aggregated, anonymous information such as page views, approximate country, referring site, and browser type. It cannot identify you as an individual.
Comments
If you choose to leave a comment, comments are provided by giscus through GitHub Discussions. Signing in to comment is entirely your choice, and if you do, GitHub may set cookies that are strictly necessary for that sign-in. If you do not comment, no such cookies are set. These are handled by GitHub under its own terms.
What is not used
No advertising cookies, no marketing or profiling cookies, no analytics cookies, and no third-party trackers. Because the site sets no non-essential cookies, no cookie-consent banner is legally required; a short, dismissible notice is shown for transparency and links here and to the Privacy Policy.
